Responsibilities
- Package finished products by labelling, boxing, and palletising according to customer specifications and dispatch requirements.
- Record production data including output quantities, downtime, and quality check results on daily production sheets.
- Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods between workstations and storage areas using trolleys or pallet jacks.
- Set up workstations with required materials, tools, and components at the start of each shift to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures, ensuring safe and efficient operation at all times.
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures including wearing prescribed personal protective equipment such as safety boots, goggles, and gloves.
Requirements
- Willingness to work shifts including night shift, weekends, and public holidays as required by production schedules.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for maintaining production schedules and team efficiency.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to standard operating procedures without deviation.
- Good attention to detail to identify product defects and quality issues during in-process checks.
- Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, or production environment is advantageous.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety rules and wearing prescribed protective equipment.
