Project Manager - Civil

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager – Civil Contracting to lead and manage civil construction projects from planning and execution through completion and final handover. The successful candidate will have strong technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities, with overall responsibility for project delivery, including time, cost, quality, safety, resources, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil construction projects from project commencement through successful completion and handover.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project execution plans, construction schedules, budgets, resource plans, and delivery strategies.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and monitor approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, scope of works, and technical requirements.
• Ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Monitor and control project progress, productivity, manpower, materials, plant, equipment, and site resources.
• Coordinate closely with Planning, Commercial, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and other project teams.
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims, commitments, and overall commercial performance.
• Identify potential delays, risks, technical issues, and resource constraints, and implement timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage, coordinate, and evaluate subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Lead regular progress, coordination, and technical meetings and provide accurate project updates and performance reports to senior management and clients.
• Ensure full compliance with QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable UAE regulations and standards.
• Review and approve project reports, method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, technical documentation, and other project deliverables.
• Coordinate testing, inspections, snagging, rectification, commissioning, completion, and final project handover.
• Maintain strong and professional relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved budget, schedule, quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring accountability, productivity, and effective coordination across all disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering/construction discipline.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in civil construction, including proven experience in a Project Manager role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale civil construction projects from inception through completion and handover.
• Experience in masterplan developments, residential communities, and townhouse projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, project management principles, contracts, commercial practices, and construction methodologies.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, cost control, variations, claims, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and project priorities while delivering under demanding schedules and deadlines.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with applicable UAE construction regulations, standards, and authority requirements is an advantage.

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
